June 10...

Hey Parents and Friends,

Is it really June 10th? Some of you are on your way soon to get your Term 1 13 day gal!! That just seems crazy. Here is the run down on today...

Verse: 2 Timothy 2:2: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."

Morning: Well we had our normal classes in the morning for periods 1-3. We have had great weather. We are especially thankful for that because we were supposed to have rain literally every day but luckily it has held off till the night time. 

Afternoon: We only had 4th and 5th period today. On party days we don't have 6th period so the girls can get ready for the party and the guy and girl schedule can match up for the party.

Night: SENIOR CITIZEN SHINDIG!!!! I never would have thought the kids/staff would embrace this party the way they did. We had a blast. The weather made us have the party inside but it was so much fun. We played bingo, shuffleboard, cards, ping pong, learned ball room dancing in the boys gym, and watched I Love Lucy in the girls gym. Some of you might be thinking..."that party sounds so great!" Kids were dressed up hysterically and even had matching voices and tucked in their lips to look like they had no teeth!! I was so impressed withe the characters that came out! Pictures coming...
