June 15...

Hey Parents and Friends,

Well, I am officially caught up! It is now the 15th and I am caught up to the 15th! Wooohoo! Some parents are just now joining us as their daughter just arrived 2 days ago....so WELCOME! This is just a little snapshot into the K2 girls side of kamp. This way when you see them again in 10 days you can sound super hip and cool by knowing some lingo and what they have been prayerfully learning! So enjoy! I promise I usually do pictures or videos every day but our photographer had some time off and we have been having some technical difficulties with our photos!!! Thanks for being patient!

Verse: Colossians 2:14: "Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

Morning: This morning was cabin unity day! We had 3 periods of the girls running around with their cabin to do different activities. It is great because it give the new gals that just arrived time to bond and the month gals love it for some great cabin time! The girls had a blast!

Afternoon: We had normal schedule. K2 girls get to pick their own schedule so that they get to do what they want! So our classes were in full swing. For 4th period all the girls went to the volleyball courts to cheer on their tribe for Volleyball competition between Kicks and Kiowas! If your daughter didn't have a tribe...she does NOW! We assigned all our 1st year kampers a tribe today so they now are a part of a tribe at Kanakuk (it's kind of like a sorority but in a healthy, christian environment :)

Night: We had K-LIFE TONIGHT. Oh parents, our K2 kids LOVE K-life nights! Joe White spoke about finding and singing your song. Daring kids to dream God sized dreams!

Have a great night and I promise I am working on getting pictures!

Kanakuk Ashley Robbins
