Hey Kanakuk Family and Friends,I hope that you are on your way safely to K2 to pick up your priceless daughters! Goodness, it's been a great term! We truly have seen the Lord grow our staff, our kampers, and yes, even directors! I am so glad that we have parents that see kamp as a part of the journey for each of your kids no matter if it was the best year yet, she was in a cabin without her friends due to decimal places of birthday dates, or if she didn't click 100% with her counselors...oh, I pray that this year was her best year yet, she did love her cabin mates and did love her counselors but more than that I pray that she grew in the young woman that she is in her intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ who LOVES her more than myself or you, as her earthly parents, could even comprehend!
Verse: 1 Timothy 6:12: "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses."
Morning: We got your girls packed up and ready to see you in a few short hours. We also had our big tribal competition. Each girl gets to pick a competition that the tribes compete in during this day: football, basketball, swim, soccer, etc.
Afternoon: We had a big K2 party to end the term...pool, lots of tournaments you could join, etc. Way fun!
