K2 SPECIAL POST: CLOSING CEREMONY DETAILS

Hey Kanakuk Family and Friends,
Here is the rundown of the schedule for you when you arrive on July 18th. We do all of our awards and such on Saturday night and on Sunday morning all we have is breakfast for the kampers still here and then you all arrive to pick them up. Here is the scoop:

Saturday, July 18th:

5:00 pm
* Early luggage pick up if leaving after ceremony on July 18th (all luggage will be put close to where you all park for easy pick up).
* Clothing store will be open for you to purchase.
5:30 pm
* Picnic for K2 parents begins.
* Boy kampers will filter in after showering at 5:45 pm
* Girl kampers will filter in after showering at 6:00 pm (that way our food lines don't get bottlenecked)
6:45 pm
* Family Vespers with Joe White
7:30 pm
* Kamper Recognition (break down into cabins to have the counselors share qualities they saw in your sweet girl)
8:00 pm
* Tribal Flag Ceremony (we announce which tribe won the term)
8:30 pm
* K2 Award Ceremony at K-dome (basketball gym)
10:00 pm
* Finish Awards and Head home with your daughter & her luggage or just you and you will come back tomorrow morning.

* IF YOU ALL LEAVE ON JULY 18TH WITH YOUR DAUGHTER HER LUGGAGE MUST BE PICKED UP EARLIER THAN THE 10 PM FINISH TIME.

Sunday, July 19th:

7:00 am
* Wake kampers up for clean/final packing
8:00 am
* Breakfast all together
8:30 am
* Parents: luggage pick up
9:00 am
* GOOD BYE

So there is the summary of tomorrow night/Sunday morning. We really have nothing on Sunday morning besides the last goodbyes. So feel free to take your sweet girl whenever works best for you. Be safe getting here and we will see ya soon!
