July 26...

Hey Kanakuk Term 3/5 Parents,
Well, it's 9:06 pm and K-Life is happening right now! I love that you all get the "real" time of what is going on and not the 5 days later or more letters that your daughters may or may not be writing...haha! Here is the day:

Women of the Bible Study: Anna / Luke 2:36-38
Verse: Psalm 25:9

Morning: Normal morning of classes. We started our "20 Day schedule" today. Don't worry Term 5 parents that is just what we call it and it just means all our K2 girls (and guys) start their individual schedules that they each make on their own. They pick all 6 periods of their day depending on if they fill up the scantron goes to their next choice and so forth. Gotta love technology...most of the time! We did have a bit of rain and didn't get to have 3rd period of our morning classes...but the girls all headed to the girls gym and made up a line dance with their cabin and then performed it for our Kanakuk Idol judges...it was so much fun!

Afternoon: Normal afternoon of classes.

Night: We had some liquid sunshine (aka: rain) but the girls were in supper and then we have K-LIFE TONIGHT! So the girls are all inside and protected from the rain. It's stopped now and the rain cooled things down a bit which is awesome. Tonight Dr. Joe White spoke and it was the purity message he does. He does a great job and have prayed today that each of your daughters would know that their worth and value is so much bigger than what the world, school, media, magazines, and sometimes friends are telling them. Each of them is PRICELESS to you and even more so to their Father who knit each of them together as they are. I pray they truly hear that their worth is never found in a boy and that true security is in the arms of the Father! Oh, for each girl to understand just how loved they are by the Lord...that is my prayer!

Cabins 19 and 20 gals are still hanging out at K-Wet for 1 more night. Don't worry moms and dads the cabin 19 and 20 girls will hear Joe's purity talk during the next 2 week term of kampers as the rest of the 25 day kiddos go to another talk that are hearing it tonight. So they will have the purity talk too...just fyi!

Sure praying for you as parents tonight. I know the job is hard and days can seem like you will not make it past her 17 birthday...you will! You are doing a great job!

Window to the K2 World,
