June 14...

Hey Kanakuk Term 1 and Term 1B Parents and Friends,
Well, Term 1B (or Term 2) parents...welcome to Kanakuk Ashley! This is a small snapshot into the K2 girls side in real time...instead of waiting on a letter from good 'ole Lampe, MO. Could be awhile?? :)

Here is the rundown of today:

Women of the Bible Study: Hagar / Genesis 16 & Genesis 21:8-21
Verse: Isaiah 35:4

Morning: Well for our new kampers we did our "welcome" morning of K2...guidelines for a great term, then cabin photo, swim test and buying Kanakuk clothing. For our 25Day girls they are doing cabin unity day. They just hang together as a cabin doing activities around K2. It's a rather chill morning with great cabin time.

Afternoon: We have our "all day" party today so it begins this afternoon. It's the World Fair. I am not sure of all the stations but I know I'm running a station where kampers can come watch the World Cup that we recorded. So fun!

Night: WORLD'S FAIR! We will have our World's Fair party tonight. I actually missed the party meeting with our leadership team as I was feeding Lulu but I'm positive it will be a blast!

I keep forgetting to tell you who is on "trip." Trip is a 1 or 2 day trip to K-Wet (all wet stuff...ski, tubing, jet skis, etc) or K-Wild (hiking, rapelling, climbing etc). Today Cabin 19 & 20 headed to K-Wet for 2 days. They were super excited.

Hope you all are doing great and would love to continue to ask that you join us in praying for your daughters as they are here that this is a refuge for them and that they become more like Jesus through these 13 days left...or 12 days now...
