July 1...

Hello Kanakuk Term 2/2A Parents and Friends,
I can't believe it is July 1st! Shay said to me the other day...we only have a month and a half left! Oh my goodness! Crazy! This term is already going by so quickly!

Women of the Bible Study: The Bleeding Woman (I know, tough name?) / Mark 5:25-34
Verse: Matthew 17:20

Morning: We start our "20 Day schedule" today. Don't worry parents of 13 dayers, it's all the same. But we just call it that. Basically today is the day the girls start their even more so "individualized" schedules that they picked with their scantrons on opening night. The 25 day gals can switch specialties at this point and even some of our 13 day gals can too if they weren't "connecting" to their specialty.

Afternoon: Continue our normal day with periods 4-6.

Night: K-LIFE TONIGHT!!! The speaker tonight is Dr. Joe White. He gives the purity talk and it's a night of guys and girls remembering that they are WORTH so much more than the world tells them they are and that they are PRICELESS to the Lord and to their future mate. It's an awesome message of purity, hope, forgiveness, and grace...all rolled into one! Would love for you as your daughter's parents to join us/continue to pray for your sweet teenage daughter's purity of heart, body, and mind. As Shay and I look at Lulu (who we can't even imagine being 16 and a teenager) and are already praying for our sweet girl to know her security is in the Lord first and then in her earthly daddy second.

Cabins 11 and 12 took off this morning for K-Wet! (don't worry, Joe does his purity message again next 2 weeks and these cabins stay for it so they hear it later).
