July 22...

Hey Kanakuk Term 3/5 Parents,
What a day! It was absolutely beautiful today! There was a slight breeze...and during Term 3/5 breezes are heavenly (especially during triathlete for me!). We have had a great day here at K2 and things are starting to have a rhythm to them as the girls catch on to the schedule. Here is the run down...

Women of the Bible Study: Lydia / Acts 16:6-15
Verse: Matthew 28:19-20

Morning: Normal morning of Higher Ground classes.

Afternoon: Normal afternoon of Higher Ground classes.

Night: TRIBAL WARBALL! We have a huge all girl warball tournament! It's awesome! Kiowas versus Kickapoos and then we have a massive game of kampers versus staff at the end! It's a blast! I will not be participating as I am of no value to a warball game! I'm just awful at it...well, I am a great dodger! But other than that I can't throw nor can I catch...so I'll simply be watching! The girls will be decked out in blue and yellow and red and white depending on their tribe! It's going to be epic I'm sure!

Cabins 17 and 18 are still at K-Wet and will be returning to K2 in the morning (but only to leave again for K-Wild for 1 night). Anyways, that's the day for you guys!
