Hey K2 Kanakuk Parents,
It's Day 3...how much are you missing your sweet daughters?? Mine are just 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 and I can't imagine 3 days...so maybe I shouldn't ask for prayers but should be praying for you all! Haha! I am sure you are just missin' them! Hopefully a run down of the day will help...
Devo: Esther 1:1-21.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 16:18.
Morning: Our first normal morning of their individualized schedules. All our scheduling was done online and it was great. Kids then know what they are getting before they get here and the schedules are all done. We have great coaches this year and where else do you get a chance to blob, BMX bike and go down a slip-n-slide all the way down cardiac hill.
Afternoon: Continued their 4-6 period classes.
Treetops: Cabin 19-20 had treetops today.
Trips: Cabin 15 and 16 gals headed out to K-Wet. K-Wet is all things on the lake with a challenge course thrown in the mix. It bonds cabins so quickly and is just a ton of fun.
Night: K-LIFE. By far the most favorite activity of kampers. They LOVE K-Life. Don Ford, president of AfterDark and Assistant Director to Joe out at K2, is a great speaker. He just got married last year and has so much passion for Jesus and this place. I was scheduling for tomorrow so didn't get a chance to go but I'm sure it was amazing.
You guys have amazing daughters! Thanks for entrusting us with them!
