June 18...

Hey Kanakuk Term 1 & 1B Parents and Friends,
Well, pictures of the 17th and 18th I will upload soon..again, silly computers. I just talked to our FANTASTIC IT department and he said "they will be out today to stabilize the system." Sounds official, huh? Anyways, until then here is the day:

Women of the Bible Study: Sarah / Genesis 16:1-6, 18:1-15, 21:1-7
Verse: Psalm 37:3-4

Morning: Normal Classes. Periods 1-3.

Afternoon: Normal Classes. Periods 4-6. Right after lunch we did have all our 13day gals head to the office for their Kanakuk year jewelry. Once you hit 3 years you start getting different "gifts" from Kanakuk. Charms, watches, duffle bags, etc...the kampers get pumped. The favorite is the 7 year I'm 3rd ring. It's the coveted year. I love the tradition this brings.

Night: CROSSTALK. Last night (i'm writing this on 6/19 in the morning) was incredible. Moms and dads, I pray that you get to hear about crosstalk from your sweet daughter. Joe did the drama of being Jesus and his life. But then after a song, he comes back as Joe to speak to the kampers. He shares with them that that was just a "drama" and the real life and death of Jesus was no 15 minute drama...hearts were stirred and softened and prayerfully lives were changed for eternity. I pray against the kamp high and pray for true change. It was just an awesome night.

Window to the K2 World,
