Day #2 was awecrepic! We do swim tests, cabin photos, kanakuk store and sunday funday all in 1 epic day! It is all things awesome in one day...sleeping in, koffee kake, church, and sunday chillax day! Here's the details:
Devo: No devo from their girls side book since it's Sunday. They have time for a quiet time but they can do what they want and not the official devo book
Morning: Church. The greatest husband, dad and director in the whole world spoke Sunday...THE HUBBY! Woohoo! He is the K2 Men's Director and he got to speak to your girls and guys about Heart Conditions. It is one of my favorite talks as he walks each kid through hearing about the state of their heart.
Afternoon: All the water activities were opened for Chillax Day! We had the store, photos and swim test going on during this time too but Chillax day was the main activity! We had sno cones, sliced fresh fruit, floating Dr. Pepper dock and trams that took the kids up and down the hill! It is like the fav day at K2!
Night: Justice League Party! We all had on our superhero masks last night and had a blast! We had a mini dance party and then sent the kids to Tribals to get the newest kickapoos or kiowas (if your daughter has never been to kamp she got a "tribe" last night to be a part of. The Kiowas are red and black and the Kickapoos are yellow and blue. It's a very long standing tradition here at Kanakuk.
