This is the classic country party that K2 HAS to have every year...it's an oldie but always a goodie!

Party Title:

          Redneck Olympics

Terms that have this party:
         14Nighters or 2 Weekers: Term 3 & 5
         28Nighters or Monthers: Term 1 & 2
Party Description:
         Where’d I put those overalls? We hope you can find them because these Olympics will have no fancy ski suits, sparkly gymnast tights or nike goggles. For these Olympics you need your best straw hat, overalls and country boots. You can come dressed as the Clampits or just the southern girl next door. Whatever you wear just make sure it is down home country and ready to do some Olympic sports like you have never seen.

Costume Ideas:
* anything denim
* Flannel shirts
* Cutoffs and cowboy hats (girls, keep the shorts modest...if you put your hands to your side you should be able to touch the end of your shorts)
* cow costumes
* Any farm animal costume
* Overalls of any kind
* Boots

Party Title: Justice League

Party Description

         Batman, Superman, The Hulk, and Ironman have nothing on this K2 party! We have superheroes like you have never seen before. Come to K2 this summer for a party that will make you fight the bad guys and make you realize you look good in a cape. Break out the capes, masks and your best superhero outfit and you will be ready to go for this night! We need all the superheroes to unite so we can dominate this party.

Costume Ideas:

* Any superhero costume (girls keep it K-rated and modest)

* Make your own superhero or villian

* Tie a towel on your neck and cut eye holes in some fabric for a mask

* Bedazzle a tshirt with your initial like superman

* Be a reporter like Lois Lane was

* Be a cop that works alongside the superheroes

K-Extreme Party...

Hey K2 Kanakuk Gals,
Well the parties are HERE! You all should be getting the K2 mailout that has the packing list, party descriptions and lots of important information (actually you can click HERE to the Kanakuk website and on the right side it will say Quick Links and click "K2 Welcome Guide") but here at KanakukAshley we will be going through each party to help you with ideas on costumes...remember COSTUMES are KEY! And by 'key,' I mean AWESOME!

Party 1 Title:
          K-Extreme

Terms Having this Party:
          14Nighters or 2 Week Terms: Term 1, 2, and 4
          28 Nighters or Monthers: Term 1 & 2

Party Description:
          X-games have nothing on K2 Summer 2011! Gear up for this party by sporting your most extreme gear. You can go safari like Bear Grylls, total snowboarder like Shaun White, or completely extreme in anything. At K2 this summer extreme will completely blow your mind! You will be trained and challenged in extreme games and maybe even have an X-Games of our own. So come dressed as ANYTHING extreme…think helmets, knee pads, neon, crazy hair wigs, camo…just anything extreme works for this crazy party!

Costume Ideas:
* Ski bib, mask, etc
* Extreme bright neon everything
* All one color
* Bike helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, etc
* Extreme 80's person
* Extreme music group fan (justin bieber anyone?)...purple and black everything

Okay, K-Extreme is going to blow your mind with awesomeness...be prepared with extreme excitement!
